The second meeting of the working group on the Universal Health Insurance Program was held at the Punjab Health Initiative Management Company on June 08, 2024. The meeting was chaired by Provincial Health Ministers Khawaja Salman Rafique and Khawaja Imran Nazir.
Attendees included Mr. Ali Jan Khan (Secretary, SHC & MED), Dr. Adnan Khan (Member Health Advisory Committee), Mr. Wajid Ali Shah (Special Secretary (Development & Reforms), SHC & MED), Prof. Dr. Mehmood Ayaz, Prof. Dr. Ali Ayaz, Dr. Zahid Pervaiz, and the PHIMC team.
Dr. Ali Razaque, CEO of PHIMC, provided a briefing on the remodelling of the Sehat Sahulat Program to enhance its effectiveness.
