Sehat Sahulat Programme
PHIMC has been mandated by the Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Department for execution/implementation of Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP) on its behalf in Punjab. SSP’s objective is to improve access of people to good quality medical services, through a micro health insurance scheme. Currently, underprivileged population (poor population, special persons and transgender community) in 29 districts of Punjab, and all population of 7 districts of Dera Ghazi Khan and Sahiwal divisions is eligible to get best healthcare facilities for free, through Sehat Sahulat Program. Government of the Punjab intends to provide free health coverage to all population of Punjab province by the end of this year.

Does one card cover for all family members or all family members would have separate cards?
Only one card is issued to head of the family, in which following members of a family are covered;
  • Husband & wife are covered.
  • Unmarried children are covered.
  • Children born in the empaneled hospitals, where services of SSP are active, would be automatically included.
Are medicines covered?
Only if you are admitted as patient.
Are lab tests and other diagnostics covered?
Only if you are admitted as patient.
In which disease can the “Health Card” be used?
Health Card can be used for treatment of any disease that requires the patient to be admitted in the hospital, except for the exclusions agreed with the Insurance Company.
