Does one card cover for all family members or all family members would have separate cards?
Only one card is issued to head of the family, in which following members of a family are covered;
- Husband & wife are covered.
- Unmarried children are covered.
- Children born in the empaneled hospitals, where services of SSP are active, would be automatically included.
Are medicines covered?
Only if you are admitted as patient.
Are lab tests and other diagnostics covered?
Only if you are admitted as patient.
In which disease can the “Health Card” be used?
Health Card can be used for treatment of any disease that requires the patient to be admitted in the hospital, except for the exclusions agreed with the Insurance Company.
