A crucial meeting was held on April 17, 2025, under the chairmanship of Mr. Khawaja Salman Rafique, Minister, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department. The meeting focused on reviewing the Chief Minister’s Children Heart Surgery Program (CMCHSP), Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Transplant Program (CMSITP), and Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Dialysis Program (CMSIDP).
CEO of PHMC, Dr. Ali Razaque and senior officials were present in the meeting, which included detailed briefings on monitoring frameworks, service delivery, and patient facilitation efforts. Mr. Khawaja Salman Rafique emphasized the need for transparency across all flagship programs, improving service quality, and effective monitoring to ensure better patient care. He stressed that panel hospitals should provide enhanced services and prioritize resolving patient issues. Additionally, he confirmed that improvements in the Health Insurance Model are being made in line with the vision of Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He assured that all resources are being mobilized to provide the best healthcare services to the people of Punjab.
