Punjab Health Initiative Management Company (PHIMC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Khawaja Salman Rafique, Minister, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department and Chairperson of the PHIMC Board, to review the empanelment of public sector hospitals under the Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Transplant Program (CMSITP). The meeting focused on identifying and addressing gaps in public sector hospitals against the prescribed qualifying criteria. Dr. Ali Razaque, CEO PHIMC, briefed the participants on the agenda and key discussion points.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Mahmood Ayyaz, Vice Chancellor, King Edward Medical University, Lahore; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aamer Zaman Khan, Director General, Punjab Human Organ Transplantation Authority (PHOTA); Prof. Dr. Tayyiba Wasim, Principal, Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore; Additional Secretary (Development), Government of the Punjab, SHC&ME Department; and Medical Superintendents of Mayo Hospital, Lahore; Jinnah Hospital, Lahore; and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore, along with other relevant stakeholders.
