The 106th meeting of the Board of Directors of Punjab Health Initiative Management Company (PHIMC) was held on February 2, 2026, under the chairmanship of Mr. Khawaja Salman Rafique, Minister, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, with the participation of Dr. Ali Razaque, Chief Executive Officer, PHIMC, and other board members. The meeting reviewed the performance of ongoing health initiatives, including the Chief Minister’s Children Heart Surgery Program, Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Transplant Program and Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Dialysis Program.
The Board approved the implementation of the Chief Minister’s Cardiac Surgery Program and the Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Cancer Patients and reviewed hospital empanelment criteria for both programs. Mr. Azmat Mahmud, Secretary, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, attended the meeting via video link.
