The 108th meeting of the Board of Directors of Punjab Health Initiative Management Company (PHIMC) was held on February 10, 2026, under the chairmanship of Mr. Khawaja Salman Rafique, Minister, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department. The meeting reviewed progress on the Chief Minister’s Stroke Program, with Professor Qasim Bashir briefing the Board on the program’s implementation framework, stroke management services, training of healthcare professionals, telemedicine support and public awareness initiatives. Board members acknowledged the proposed measures and shared their recommendations.
The meeting also considered the empanelment of additional hospitals under the Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Dialysis Program to improve patient access to treatment. Dr. Ali Razaque, Chief Executive Officer, PHIMC, and other board members and officials participated in the meeting.
