Minister P&SHD Dr. Jamal Nasir, along with Minister SHC&ME Prof. Dr. Javed Akram and Education Minister Mr. Mansoor Qadir chaired the meeting to discuss the proposal for sharing patient load with PESSI Hospitals.
Mr. Ali Jan, Secretary, P&SHC Department, Mr. Faisal Fareed, Secretary, L&HR, Department, Mst. Nadia Saquib, Commissioner, PESSI and Dr. Ali Razaque, CEO, PHIMC and other officers attended the meeting.
Draft Recommendations of Ministerial Committee were discussed as follow:
1. Payment of procedures for general public other than cardiac procedures and C-section.
2. Co-payment model for Cardiac Procedures.
3. Extension of OPD consultation services exclusive of medicines and labs to be provided at PESSI Hospitals.
