PMNHP Milestones

  • Inauguration of PMNHP at Rahim Yar Khan21 October, 2016

    The Prime Minister’s National Health Program (PMNHP) was inaugurated at Rahim Yar Khan District on 21st October, 2016. It was emphasised that the program is directed at  poorest of the poor who cannot afford medical treatment. It is the duty of the Government to take care of this segment of the society. The program will benefit more than 503,000 eligible families at Rahim Yar Khan.

  • Inauguration of PMNHP at Narrowal12 January, 2017

    The Prime Minister National Health Program (PMNHP) was inaugurated in the district of Narowal on January 12, 2017. The program will benefit more than 134,000   eligible families in Narowal.
    It was reiterated that People do not have enough money to buy medicine. They don't even have enough money to travel to the hospital. Government of Pakistan decided to give Rs. 350/- per person at the time if discharge as travelling expense.  As per the scheme, the government will cover medical bills (per card per family) that amounts to  Rs. 250,000/- for priority diseases and Rs. 50,000/- for secondary care coverage respectively.

  • PAKMEDICA Health and Medical Fair28 September, 2017

    PHIMC’s Communications department arranged stall and branding in collaboration with Specialized Healthcare and Medical  Education Department, Government of the Punjab at PAKMEDICA Health and Medical Fair held from  28th to 30th September, 2017 at Expo Centre, Lahore.
    Event was attended by renowned Health Sector companies, dignitaries, Government Officials including CM, Minister Health etc.

  • Expansion of PMNHP in 12 more Districts of Punjab Announced02 January, 2018

    Meeting on Prime Minister National Health Program, chaired by Federal Minister for Health, held at Islamabad on 2nd January 2018. On this occasion it was directed to start the services in 13 more disricts that included Bhakkar, Hafizabad, Khushab, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Bahwalnagar,Bahawalpur, Multan, Vehari and Layyah.

  • Inauguration of PMNHP at Bhakkar20 January, 2018

    The inauguration of Prime Minister National Health Program in district Bhakkar was on January 20, 2018. The Pakistan Sehat Cards were distributed among beneficiaries.
    The insurance covers all kinds of major surgeries and chronical complications. it is however not eligible for outdoor coverage. One card is valid for one single registered family.

  • Inauguration of PMNHP at Layyah23 January, 2018

    Prime Minister National Health Program was launched in district of Layyah on January 23, 2018. Pakistan Sehat Card was distributed among the beneficiaries. Government officials and dignitaries were also present in the distribution ceremony.
    Inauguration in Layyah was done in two phases, initially a team from PHIMC was sent to the district to raise awareness among the target audience. To briefly explain the Prime Ministers National Health Program, information about the health card and how patients can avail quality and timely treatment free of cost.

  • Inauguration of PMNHP at Khushab07 February, 2018

    Prime Minister National Health Programme was launched in Khushab district on February 07, 2018. Pakistan Sehat Cards were distributed among beneficiaries.
    Treatment shall be provided for the underprivileged at both public and private hospitals without any delay.

  • Inauguration of PMNHP at Vehari09 February, 2018

    Prime Minister National Health Programme launched in Vehari district on February 09, 2018. Pakistan Sehat Cards were distributed among beneficiaries. Government officials from Vehari District, CEO PHIMC, Zaheer Abbas Malik and other stakeholders were also present on this occasion.

  • Inauguration of PMNHP at Hafizabad17 February, 2018

    Prime Minister National Health Programme was inaugurated in Hafizabad district on February 17, 2018. Pakistan Sehat Cards were distributed among the beneficiaries.
    Treatments for cardiovascular diseases — such as bypass surgeries or angioplasty  treatments — as well as other complicated and expensive treatments are included in the scheme.

  • 118124 Beneficiaries Visited Empanelled Hospitals15 March, 2018

    Prime Minister National Health Programme is providing quality healthcare services to a large number of poor population in Punjab for FREE through Pakistan Health Card.
